dimarzio doesn't make any active pickups. what kind of sound are you going for ?
i used to be a mod, then i took an arrow in the knee.

Well as you might have been able to tell by my pickup choice...
I really really like satriani's sound

I swear to the gods - this thread - this exact one - with the same model of ibanez and everything - was JUST done last week.

I know the search bar doesn't have big glowing neon lights, but is it REALLY that hard to find and/or use?

I'll tell you the same thing I told him - no matter what pickup you put in it, it's still going to be a cheap ibanez GRX.

Get a new guitar. Most of the tone comes from the amp anyway.
Do you feel warm within your cage?

And have you figured out yet -

Wow....

dick

Somehow I'M a dick because YOU didn't pay attention and asked a redundant question?

Try looking before you ask something that's already been answered, it's just common sense.

And all that aside, I answered your question objectively. It's an Ibanez GRX - what do you want?

the Mo' Joe is the FRED with Satch's mods done to it
and they cost the same

i know i just like the sound of the fred better, has a bit more treble and mid range. but that's just my preference, if the mo joe is what you're after go for it.

You could have gotten all of your points across without being a dick about it.

I did - you're just overly sensitive.

I was only saying that there are other threads nearly identical, and I saw several of them, and next time you should use the search bar.

GET OVER IT.

Now I'm being a dick, and it's all your fault. DAMNIT!
