Does the Laney GH50L have enough gain for a Killswitch style distortion, or does it need a boost or an EQ pedal?

That's a video of someone playing This Fire from As Daylight Dies, I'd say the amp does a pretty good job, although it's boosted with an SD-1.

Yeah, I was going to post that video. That tone is almost dead on. It's a very bright amp though, he has his bass full open.

Even without a boost it's still do modern metal pretty well. Hell, Opeth uses it and their tone is amazing.
