I'm looking into getting some for my Hamer Sunburst. I don't want anything really hot as I play mainly alt/hard rock, and i've been getting into some jazz and blues lately.
I'm thinking about getting this Barbecue Bucker for the bridge and this Jazzbar for the neck.
Do you guys think that combo looks ok? Or would I be better off not getting a bucker-soapbar combo? Thanks

Look into bareknuckle pickups as well.

What do you feel is lacking about your current set of pickups?

i just want more of a contrast when i switch from one to another. right now, the only advantage i have switching from one (stock) pickup to the other is that i can turn the volume down on one so i can get two different volumes switching back and forth. and that's why I want a soapbar, so that I can get more of a contrast. now stop questioning my motives!
