my guitar has a floyd rose, not the newer ones, a little older, and one day as i was playing it i realized it was rising up a little bit from the body. does this have to do with the tensions on the strings??? its weird cuz i just noticed this.

and if it does, does this mean my guitar is ****ed up???

no it should be fine, if you pull the whammy bar up it should raise the tension on the stings and make the notes sound higher. you can muck with the spring tension in the back to fix it

no, but you should unscrew the headstock bolts and hold the bar level, then tune it. Then re lock the nut and it should be better. i had the same problem. You could even take out a spring in the bottom, might help.
