Ok so I wanna learn how to do forward flips on the ground

at the moment I'm practicing by trying to flip from the bar at the edge of the trampoline onto the black bit, but I never get enough air/spin to land on my feet, anybody who can do this know any good training excercises etc to get over this problem?
I also want to learn frontflips and backflips, but im too afraid to do it I have a fear of breaking my neck.
When all else fails, ask the pit.
