Normally it depends on my mood, but a few songs that always give me shivers no matter what my mood are:

Creeping Death-Metallica/Bullet For My Valentine(Doesn't matter which, still an epic fucking song.

Battery-Metallica

Black Hole Sun-Soundgarden

A Day in Amsterdam Remix-The Dial

Cast Down The Heretic-Nile

Confined-As I Lay Dying

Hopeless Truth-Arsis

Silent Night Bodom Night-Children of Bodom

If you liked soothsayer, check this one out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8akmP6Sjv2o

its just whitewash with a solo. And the solo is so pimped

I'm not quite sure what you mean.

When I feel overwhelmed by life I sometimes listen to Yesterdays - Guns and Roses or Ten Years Gone - Led Zeppelin.

I don't know why, but the mood/tempo/rhythm of those songs kinda just put everything into perspective.
