I worked from 11pm (Thanksgiving night) to 9am the next day. I work at Aeropostale at a gigantic mall and we opened up at midnight. It was pretty insane! No fights or anything like that, but it was still pretty intense! You wouldn't believe how many people showed up at 3am to buy clothes...
Anyone else have crazy shifts or stories from Black Friday at work?

I only had to work 5 to 10 this evening, but there were still an insane amount of people in Kmart. Luckily I wasn't running a register today, but people massacred the section where I was working. It was a catastrophe.

my brother woke me up at 4 a.m, asked me if i wanted to go shop so i called him a fag, punched him in the chest and went back to bed

i feel bad for you, if i had to work those hours i would most likely quit, im not to much of a morning person

I was bored after dinner yesterday so I drove around looking for places open. K Mart was the only place open Thanksgiving by me. AND people started camping outside Best Buy at like 7:30 last night...

Nah I'm not a morning person either, I just drank one of those new Heavy Metal Monster drinks and a 5 hour shot haha. Anyway, it was better than being there with thousands of customers in the day time!

I'm so sorry about you having to deal with a bunch of trendy douchebags...

Anywho, black friday gets pretty crazy. A few years ago at the mall right down the street they closed the entrances because there was no parking. When a car left they let a car in.

Surprisingly it isn't that bad. Most of the customers are Hispanic people looking for cheap stuff that looks expensive and Asians who come from some place where the clothes are probably popular. The amount of rich white girls is not as bad as I had expected.

I had to work today too. At the mall. A huge fight broke out in the halls right outside our store.

What is Black Friday? I don't have it in my country.
