don't bother. i don't even know if it's possible, but another speaker on a 10 watt amp is pointless. Buy a new amp

Epiphone AJ
Ibanez Strat Copy

Orange Tiny Terror Head
Old beaten up Peavey cab

why would you tell him to get a new amp? He may have a fricken awesome amp that he loves and never wants to part with. He never said he wants a new amp, he asked if he could put another speaker in it, which is definetly possible. It will give you a better tone on high volumes. Also why are you telling him to get a new amp when by the looks of it, you do even more
use either of these

and instead of wiring to output jacks, wire it up with your old speaker, if you know how to with the diagram

Or you can just make a whole other cab with one speaker and wire the speaker up to input and output jacks
Wire the + on the speaker to the + on the jack and the - on the speaker to the - on the jack
