Hello everyone. I was at guitar center today when I noticed an awesome amp called the Egnater Rebel 20. The amp sounded really cool, but I had a little trouble dialing in a good reggae tone to go with my crybaby wah pedal. Does anyone with more experience know how well this amp will work for my needs?

If it didn't work out for you at GC, don't get it.
I haven't tried a Rebel, but I personally wouldn't get it for funk or reggae.
Look into something cleaner like a Fender HRD.
Call me Wes.

Do you think a Blues Jr. would do the trick, or would that amp break up too much?

P.S. I need enough volume to play clean over drums.

the blues jr is a 15 watt tube amp, almost made to achieve tube breakup. i'd go for a bigger amp or maybe something with a clean channel if you have to play over drums
