exactly as the title says i have a randall rg 100 g3 ( hybrid) and i was wondering if the emg's will make a difference with my amp........ any help will be greatly apprecciated

yer defo have more distortion and your tone might change slightly. a much tighter bass response

It'll push the preamp in your amp harder, so it'll give it a bit more gain.

There have been arguements and all-sorts about active pickups, but most people say EMG's sound a bit sterile.
Maybe some Seymour Duncan Blackouts will be worth a look at.

Ultimately i'd wait until a UGer that knows what they are talking about gives their advice!
