ok, so today i bought a used peavey classic 30, and i was playing it for like 30 min straight. All of the sudden i start to hear a kinda rattling or shaking noise from the amp. I moved everything away from the amp to make sure it just wasnt something shaking from the loud noise, but it was rattling anyway.

If anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it.

If it is tube rattle check on ebay for "Tom's Tube Tamer" it is a bracket that goes inside to keep the tubes still. If you put in a search for a classic 30 they (tube tamers) usually pop up as items for sale. Good luck.

See, that's why you dont buy used gear, 'cause it "USED" to work.

Buying used gear is like buying a used car. The parts are all their, but the wiring's kinda screwy.

^
Hence, why I don't / WON'T buy used.

Only if you buy a rust bucket.

Anyways, if it's the tubes rattling, there's that tube tamer that was suggested.
