Me and my friend were talking about Chinese Democracy, when he told me a pretty funny story. Here goes.

In the middle of recording the album, apparently some Iraqui terrorist blew up a KFC somewhere in Mexico, this ticked off Buckethead, to the point he almost joined the army, stating that the terrorist 'took it too far'

Axl, needing his guitar player offered anything for him not to go off and fight in the war. He proposed to take Buckethead to Disney Land, Buckethead accepted.

This is just a pleasing image for me, I can see Buckethead and Axl riding the teacups and eating cotton candy together

Me as well, but I don't recall the exact location of the KFC. It also said that Buckethead enjoys watching hardcore porn while recording his guitar parts...

What does joining the US Army have to do with a terrorist incident in Mexico that blew up a KFC?

I'm not sure entirely sure of the cercumstances.

I never knew Buckethead was so passionate of KFC. He must own a franchise somewhere or be a part owner just for the free chicken and to fulfill his love of the company lol

I always figured he was a teenage stoner who was like "lol I'll where this on my head"

"k koo'."

i read the same. it brings him inspiration, along with the chicken coop he records in

So I just woke up sitting in my desk chair, with my bong on the desk in a bunch of little pieces and my hand super glued to my penis. Speculations as to what the hell just happened and how to unglue my hand from my member would be appreciated.

So none of the Buckethead playing was salvaged for the final cut?

What a shame.
It was "Buckethead – guitars on all tracks except 7; acoustic guitar on track 5; arrangements on tracks 2, 8 and 10"

it says that on wikipedia so it must be true.

Not all of his stuff was scraped. He still holds credit to many of the albums guitar solos. And he pretty much single-handedly wrote Shacklers Revenge. He contributed more guitar work than Robin Fink and Bumblefoot combined.

Get yo facts str8 fool!

lol its all good. im just giving you a hard time.

but yeah, Shacklers Revenge was based off a song that buckethead previously wrote, called Shackler. you can immediately tell the sorry intro was written by him too. it sounds like something straight off of "electric tears". his sweeps in 'better' are unmistakable as well. i was really hoping they were going to rework "interworld and the new innocence" into a gnr song. it wouldve worked great.

Some say that he can transform into an eagle seemingly at will. Others say that he can see 10 seconds further into future than he can into the past. I've heard rumours that he beat death in a battle of extreme sudoku back in 1764 and that he feeds off the tears of mermaids to retain his youth.
