Of Mist and Murderous Thirst

Skywards, my heavy eyes are allured
Like the coils of a haunted garden
A foul, blood drenched despair
My past;
Breathing light unto darkness
A thousand lives she could live
All to be crucified
A thousand lives I'd give
Just to see her die once more
For the screaming in keys of agony and fear
To see the sight
Of her life pouring before her, like the stars that fade into the dawn

For her,
Who's hair ran like rivers of gold
For her,
licking black lips smothered in blood
For her,
Who's scream still imprinted within my memory
For her,
The black circle of my hearts dark ceremony

A midnights night I descended
From a sky clad in pearl
Defiled once, was my heart
In unison with a perfect hell
Together under a sky bleeding
I felt for her, my heart fell
Writhing like a snake
Unable to flee as her teeth sank
Sealing the letter that was my fate
As my blood pumped through her
I felt my heart break

For her,
Who's hair ran like rivers of gold
For her,
licking black lips smothered in blood
For her,
Who's scream still imprinted within my memory
For her,
The black circle of my hearts dark ceremony

brilliant.

i like how you start the second and fourth stanzas with "For her", and then repeat it.

repetition in poetry leaves a lasting effect; great job!

Mikko, you remind me of a clogged up toilet. You're the poo that won't go away.
