Hey, i've been ampless now for a little while, and it's really been bugging me because the songs just don't sound the same without effects and loudness.

Any amps you would recommend?

EDIT: I don't need ear-busting power.
Just something little and cheap with distortion

EDIT AGAIN: around a hundred dollars is the budget.

ehhh, sorry
This is the closest thing to an amp that i can think of.
It's an amp for my
ELECTRIC GUITAR.
Is there a better place to put this?

probably somewhere around 100 dollars.
I don't want something all hi-tech.
Just something to hold me until i scrape together the cash for a better one.

Get a Bugera 6262-212 (120w combo) or Bugera 333xl-212.

The only thing you'd have to do is open the amp up, screw the loose screws in tightly (7 year old chinese children usually don't have the strength to do so.), and remove the clip connecting the tranformer cable, and solder the cable.

Voila, a 600 dollar amp that sounds like a $1500+ dollar amp.

You can get a Orange Crush 30R, which are extremely decent Solid State amps.

Are those the little ones?
About how much are they?

$199 USD I think.

That's not too bad.

I've heard the 30r has a really good clean sound, but it's not the best on distortion.

Get either a Peavey Vypyr (15w) or a Roland Cube(15w). Both are 100 USD and sound great for the price. Try them both and pic your favourite. They are the best for $100. Stay away from Spiders III's or Marshalls.
