So like in the solo of Bullet for my Valentine`s song "Scream Aim and Fire"..and in the some parts of "Through the fire and flames"..It looks like they hold the pick just a little above the string...but you hear a very fast tap...?
Any help greatly appreciated=)

I know the answer is obvious..but still...it allways seems the pick is not moving..do people use the pick for faster tapping? cause they only tap this fast with picks..:P

Well it gives a harder sound/more volume if you use a pick rather than your finger tips and the not moving thing is just them using very small motions to sound out each note, for speed

im pretty sure dragonforce does it as ive seen em doing it... whats the point of this question?

they do it to make it sound a bit stronger. the pick is usually stringer than your finger, but still, there is not much of a differende. you can do it with your fingers.
