What is that thing called that is like:
an object will stay in motion until something stops it?
I learned it last year, forgot, and now need to remember it for a science fair project

edit: Wait wrong thing:
an object with more mass will stay in motion longer than one with less

this one^

newtons first law

an object at rest will stay at rest, blah blah, an object in motion will stay in motion

An object in motion will stay in motion unless it encounters an opposing force.

Physics, I can't remember the name of the law though.

*Points to above* The Newton's First Law post. And I'm pretty sure there's a science/physics help thread around here somewhere for that sort of thing.

Newtons first law,but inertia shortly.

Or to be exact,it's not about object staying in motion,it's about object trying to keep it's original state of movement(velocity, direction, etc).

Physics 101 really
