Hey, I'm planning on buying a Marshall TSL 100 amp head (not combo amp), does anyone know where to get a cheap one? Is there anything I need to know about it before I buy one? Tell me how you like yours.
Thanks

They are ok amplifiers.
The DSL is generally accepted as the better of the JCM line, and the TSLs are regarded as overpriced and muddy, just some general opinons.
I think they are decent however I think there are better amps in the price range.

I actually prefer the TSL over the DSl. To my ears the TSL is clearer and more articulate.

the only thing that sucks about the TSL is the footswitch.

What amp were you thinking about? I like a lot of classic rock music like Van Halen, Aerosmith, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses, etc. So, that's the type of tone I'm looking for.
