Well i did this thread to discuss about this documental about the independent industry.

Oh cut the crap, the truth is that i know that some of the people in this forum are true punx and so i imagined that at least one soul among you should have bought the dvd.

As you know im from argentina, and the dvd is distributed free on the internets, i know what you think "thats great, is very punx" but the thing is that... i cant find a god damn version of the movie full so i can rip the damn subtitules that are in spanish so i can show the movie to other people frommy country, so the point is: i wanted to ask you if you could rip the Subititles using some software like subrip or something like that, please, im truly desperate for those subs.

You know, some people say behind the jokes the truth is hidden.

Believe what you want, i take DIY seriously and i want to promote it, and save some people from comercialism, i dont like that some spanish fools like ska-p come here to tell the people that the colonisation of america was a **** and then they make stadiums become full of fool people who have actually no clue about nothing.

i dont like all that stuff about singing revolution when they have a contract whit a multinational major label.

Up teh DIY ethic fellas!.

A lot of us including me really do care about DIY and our scenes, gopher was just saying that calling ourselves "true punx" is kind of a joke. I would help if I knew how, but unfortunately I don't. I'm sure someone here knows how to do it though.

CBGB wants to be famous like the others such as Green Day and Offspring. They don't want to be a underground punk band.

DIY is the way to go man.

My band records some nice sounding stuff in my bedroom. And we flog CDRs, if people want artwork they have to print it out themselves!

Maybe this is the correct thread.

Somebody advised us to find our own label, because of taxes and laws etc.
We´ll soon sell copies of our EP.......and I´ve marked that any DIY Punk band
(Subhumans: Bluurg, Crass: Crass Records, Conflict: Mortarhate, DK: Alternative Tentacles........) mentions a label on his record.
So do we need to mention a fictive label on our EP?

you can if you want for ****s and giggles but i dont think you really need to though, it could be a fun way to have an inside joke or something. good luck on the ep!

I can't really tell if you're joking or not.

Calling ourselves and most other things "tr00 p0nx", however most of us support DIY and our local scenes.

This thread was about a documentary. I don't know where this conversation even came from. Go find the DIY thread wherever it went.
