Because none of the local shops carry ESP guitars, I ordered one from Musician's Friend.

Now I'm going to go buy the rest of the stuff I need (I'm a beginner) from a local shop.

I'm buying an amp (Peavey Vypyr 30), picks, a stand, and a cable. Anything else? I don't think I need a tuner because the amp is supposed to have one built in. Do the built-in tuners work good, or should I get one separate?

Anything else I'm missing?

Thanks!

That's everything you need. You might want to get an extra pack of strings in case one breaks. If you plan on standing up you'll need a strap. Finger ease (string lubricant) is completely unnecessary but I highly recommend it.
