The metal muff seems to have a good reputation around here, but when I tried it out ages ago I thought it sucked. You can look into Blackstar pedals, they have some really good distortions.

what's your budget? if you're not lookin' to spend too much, the metal muff should be fine.

Since you got no price limit you could try out the tube pedals from Hughes & Kettner, Damage Control, Seymour Duncan, Radial and Blackstar.

dont get a DS pedal, just get really sick OD.

DS pedals work great trough a clean amp.

Your amp already has a great OD, just put an OD infront of it to give it that extra ummff.

I suggest the CM-2 if you want to get really heavy.
It also does mild distortions great, and works great as a clean boost.

I can get some pretty sick gainny sounds out of my crate V18, I imagine it would sound heavenly trough a rocker 30.
