So i'm thinking about buying a new Acoustic-Electric guitar and i was looking at a few at a local music shop and i found one that i really liked but had something i wasnt so sure of..there was a sort of an attached "lip" around the sound hole. i'm not sure if this would get in the way of anything or cause any troubles or not.

here's the guitar:

Yes, it's just one song in particular, theres no shredding or fast solos.
It is a mellow, instrumental, clean, song.

It's a yamaha APX series guitar. The "lip" is just an ornamental thing. It's a decent guitar. Good sound plugged in, not the best sound unplugged. A good buy overall, i'd say.
Equipment:
- Art & Lutherie Cedar CW (SOLD! )
- Martin D-16RGT w/ LR Baggs M1 Active Soundhole Pickup
- Seagull 25th Anniversary Flame Maple w/ LR Baggs Micro EQ

thanks
i was just wondering if it would eventually get in the way or anything like that because the Alvarez i have right now has pick scratches on the edges of the sound hole from it being played for about 15 years
