Today, after a prosperous excursion at Nokia, our paths separated due to their plummeting stocks and the general downward spiral of world economy.

On my last day I decided to do my part and help them towards bankruptcy by nicking a pocketful of tea bags, a pen, three clothes pegs and a pair of ESD gloves.

Any similar work experiences?

EDIT: Mm, free tea

Will you send me some of that tea?

For the right price, yes. After all, it's not just "tea". it's Nokia tea.

Any Samsung spies willing to buy industry secrets?

When the local Halloween store let me go I didn't steal anything but I randomly switched all the inventory tags around.

The bitch is they know what's up till mid-March.

Yeah, my ex collegues all conspired to make my believe the company was going down and accept my redundancy as well.

Seriously tho, I got made redundant in July - global accounting firm, been stuck on UG ever since. My children think I'm a piece of furniture.

EDIT - I still have a load of their backup tapes and keys to the building.

I know, a couple of days before I left I had got myself a tape gun and a label printer - should have kept them.

EDIT - they would have helped me package all of the computers I nicked to flog on ebay

You're a devious fiend! I hope you find a job you like soon.

Thanks mate! Will probably live a couple of weeks or so of unruly unemployed life, doing the stuff I've been neglecting while in the constraints of the capitalist superpowers. Partying, hanging with mates, playing guitar and video games, being one lazy fucker in general. And drinking my free tea, naturally.

^ A tape gun? Do you realise how much fun could've been had with such a wonderful contraption?

When I left my engineering job, I welded all the tools to the bench, my bosses boots to one of the pillars and took home a little portable MIG welder, small angle grinder, 110 box and a load of PPE.

I <3 free stuff.

Nice one. Someone must've had a good time trying to detach them.

The worst I've done was probably changing some shipping dates around out of boredom, causing a moderate amount of indignation to the client company.

On the actual subject of the thread, one of my house mates works as a custodian at our university's dorms so he steals toilet paper and things like that (occasionally food from the dining hall) all of the time.

Its ****ty one ply stuff but it beats having to buy it ourselves.

Nokia have no secrets. Once you release the phone they're all out there for anyone to steal.

I like nokia phones.

When I finished my construction job last year my boss helped me take a box of hardhats, 3 waterproof jackets and pants, some steel toed boots, some traffic cones, rope, and a couple of high vis vests

Except for the industry methods, quality requirement priorities for the different customers, eg. who get quaranteed the best quality, What kind of faults are allowed to go to the customers etc. Of course there's nothing confidential in released phones.

In the job interview you had to sign a complete professional confidentiality agreement.
Filming and recording inside the premises is forbidden, there's been a few lawsuits because of people doing that.
