You are sitting as your computer when out of nowhere you are extremely hungry. The problem, there's nothing to eat in the house and it's late so most stores are closed.
Where's the first place you go?

I usually go to a WaWa and get a sub.
MD, (and yes I am refering to McDonalds) is usually open all day and night now but they keep the food in warming bins after 8pm and don't fire up the grill until 8am. With that said, I stay away from them.

Perkins, though the closest Perkins for me is 45 minutes away,,, so i usually just go to my grocery store since they're open 24 hours.

McMeatCurtains is a good restaurant. I find it at my apartment occasionally. (Sometimes it's closed) and it is juicy and delicious meat. I just put my face into it literally and get all sloppy and cover my face in juices.

Taco Bell

or Sheetz. but if you don't live in southeast PA, you probably don't have Sheetz.

or maybe KFC. there is one around here that is open pretty late

oh, and there is this local diner that is open 24hrs a day near here. they have pretty good food. i go there late at night with my friends sometimes.

EDIT: i've done some investigating, and apparently Sheetz is more widespread than i thought. they exist in Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.

McDonald's. I'm cheap.

TS, I hope that's not what you meant by "MD". D:}

I'm in a college town so my choices are: Wendys, Taco Bell, BK, McDonalds, Wal*Mart, Three gas stations, the Diner, on campus market, The calzone place (I work there), and about 6 different pizza places. All of those are open until at LEAST 1 or 2, some until 4, and a few are 24/7.

Favorite= wendys or campus marketplace (then I don't have to drive)

There's a type of fast food restaurant here in Phoenix (I'm not sure if there's others outside of the American southwest area) that serves the greasiest, most excellent Mexican food (not like Taco Bell, actual Mexican food). The people at the counters can barely speak English, the buildings are always shady looking, the restaurant name is always a Hispanic name and/or surname (Filiberto's , Poliberto's, Sainz ect). Everything about the restaurants usually screams "We will give you dysentery!", but the food is always godly, especially after midnight when you're drunk.

Tim Hortons

Haha! Everytime I hear of Tim Hortons I think of An Evening with Kevin Smith 2: Evening Harder.

My city is pretty lame, and everything closes at 9. The donut shop is open 24 hrs, though. Jack in the Box is open 'til 2, and The Counter [best burger I've ever had] is open 'til 11, which is weird because it is a regular sit-down restaurant.

Dude, nothing comes close to a fourth-meal from Taco Bell.

Fully loaded nachos, steak quesadilla, fiesta potatoes, burritos, tacos, baja blast. Plus, it's cheap.

Denny's is right down the road from all the bars, so that place always does well. That's the place you drive to to chill out when you shouldn't be driving. I've done it countless t imes. We had a Steak and Shake but, they banned smoking indoors here in Ohio and everything kind of died since then, and they didn't make it.

It's funny, though, there's a McDonald's down the road that recently extended their hours, and, at 2 in the morning, the lines for the drive through have literally gone out of the parking lot and down the block.

White Castle, on the other hand, has been closed every time I've gone past it recently, which is weird because it always does good business. They only opened it within the past year, and the stoners definitely flock there. That and Taco Bell. I live RIGHT on the border between this city and the next one, and there's a Taco Bell right on either side, and they're both packed late at night. Taco Bell is like a fucking safe-haven of drunk/stoned food. I've had drunk people in my car, I've had high people in my car, I've been drunk, and I've been high, and it ALWAYS comes to Taco Bell.

In fact, oh, my god, I want Taco Bell.

so true.

i hardly ever see anyone eating in taco bell, but there is always a line at the drive-thru.

How can it be a late night resteraunt if it closes at 8pm?
But yeah, KFC is great if you're pissed but Maccas is 24 hours so hmm...

We got a local place called Jim's Steakout, that's open when the bars close at 4AM. A bit on the pricey side, but their steak hoagies and chicken finger subs are scrumptious. Or Greek food at the Olympic is pretty good, and the place is open 24 hours.
There will probably be a signature here at some point.
