You can go to an electronics store and buy a standard adapter with the same plug, for possibly less money.

They're better quality i suppose.

But every pedal and multifx I've ever used, I've powered using standard cheap adapters (never the ones recommended by the manufacturer), and everything was fine (as long as the adapter supplies enough amperage).
