I'm looking for a Les paul that has 24 frets. I DO NOT like the epiphone prophecy guitar, because it only has 1 vol + 1 tone which makes me mad.

I want a 24 fret les paul that has 2 vol + 2 tone, and I would prefer it in white. Any ideas?

This.

It would be such a bitch to get to the upper frets without a cutaway

how about an esp ltd ec-1000? it is built just like a les paul, but it has 24 frets and u can get it with duncans or emgs.

My mate has one, but it's unbranded. Sounds pretty much identical to my epiphone custom though, and yes, fret access is a bitch.

You will never reach the 24th fret...

ESP Eclipse series, deeper cut-away to allow better fret access (unlike the horrible access on the Epi Prophecy)

I prefer barbed wire strings. I find I can get the most br00t41 tonez with it.

i was once in your mindset. i HAD to have a guitar with 24 frets. over the course of a year i've learned that you DONT NEED ONE. the 22nd fret can be bent to a high E whenever you need it which isnt very often. if you want a les paul just get a real les paul. you can find one for less than 1.5k if you look hard enough.

Eclipses only have 22 frets, yeah. The EC-series all have 24 (except EC-256 and EC-400), though. I tested an EC-500 a while back and loved it.

ibanez will have fuk all. they are said to be the worst metal guitar brand Ever due to their hate of traditional guitars their always tryin' to make unique guitars but it just goes to horse-**** just try esp instead!

lol PLEASE not another ltd/esp debate...

esp is for people who want 100% quality at decent prices!
ltd is for people who love abalone, emgs and real good quality at affordable prices...

its def not same as epi - gibson...
epi have good models..elite n all, but ltd above 4/500 range are superior for metal compared to any gibson you put against..
and NO my ESP + LTD guitars do not bias me ....*rolls eyes*
