I'm listening to some grateful dead... and it's making things so much better....

what about you guys ?

ever used music to cure your depression ?
Cette nuit j'ai rêvé que je mâchais ses yeux
Après avoir crevé par accès de furie
Ta replète panse d'helminthes blancs nourrie,
Trop prompte à déféquer le fruit d'un vit sanieux.

Yes, it's very therapeutic. Though, I normally listen to some songs depending on the mood I'm in.

Like, I've been listening to 'God' by John Lennon a lot, meaning I've been a little down. But on some days, I'll listen to some Ben Folds for the upbeat tune I desire...

The album Wildflowers by Tom Petty has brought me up from tough times on countless occasions.

yes, too many times. sometimes even depressing songs even help. Insomnium is what always helps out (warning: death metal)
Only the blue sky and the green grass
Go on forever in this world
Where seconds feel like eternity
And years pass in blink of an eye

If i have a crappy day at school, i'll usually go home, turn on some metal, and just sit back and close my eyes and it calms me down. Thats how i vent my anger.

If it wasnt for metal, i'd probobly have gotten expelled a long time ago

I found Bob Marley and suddenly life was significantly less stressful for a week or so.
There will probably be a signature here at some point.

If I'm depressed, I usually listen to depressing songs and it gets worse. I just don't wanna listen to anything else when I am feeling sad. Instead of making me feel better, the happy songs just piss me off.
I can honestly say I have really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like.

I don't always post on UG, but when I do, I post in the Pit. Stay thirsty my friends.

I was expecting this thread to be about the Cure so I could agree that yes, music can in fact be the Cure.

But on topic... Fleet Foxes does the trick.
