Pickups are made of magnets

Your strings are made of metal.

Lower your pickups.

Also,

there's an electric guitar thread/forum!

edit: forum thingy. And don't lower them too much or the manets of your pickup won't be able to detect the strings vibration. Well you should go to the electric guitar forum, there they will help you more precisely on how to adjust that.

u dont want to raise the pickups, actually the pickups dont even matter. u need to raise the bridge. its probably ur string buzzing against the fret because the action is too low.

raise the bridge.

The nut might be too worn down or the bridge might be too low. The string is hitting the frets.
