Who else has to work nights and what do you do?

I work at a bus depo where i have to fuel, park and shunt them into the wash chamber. I independently fuel 67 buses and park aroung 15, its gruelling work, and its bloody freezing.

Reason im asking is that i thought my body clock would change over time to get used to being awake in the night and sleeping till afternoon, but its not working so far, did it take you long?

I'm a hospital porter, and I have to work 2 weeks of nights in every 6 weeks. I do 5 days in a row, then 3 days off, then 7 in a row. 8 hour shifts. 10pm - 6am.

Not much happens in a hospital during the night. Get the drunks in the ECC along with the oldies that trip over. I have to take some of them off to get scanned, x-ray, CT, MRI, U/S, etc. Usually there is a least one trip to the mortuary each night.

Nothing taxing there at all, but the money is fairly reasonable.
