Hey UG. I have a crappy Squier I will never use once I get my Carvin, so I want to have some fun with it. I was thinking about painting the pickguard. I'm not sure what I will paint it yet, I am still brainstorming some ideas. Will this look tacky, or actually be a good idea? by the way, this guitar will turn into a project guitar. I hope to upgrade it with some nice guitar parts. It will still be a crap guitar, but I would use it to get experience working with guitars. I doubt I would use it onstage, but I would like to paint the pickguard or do something to personalize it.

And I doubt I would use stickers on the body. I don't want it looking it tacky.
Get a Carvin. Do it.
