Probably going to sell my Peavey Valveking head and a cabinet to get the amount in the title.
Right now i am wondering if their are any good high gain amps around my price range.
I live around Portland Oregon area.

If I don't sell i am probably going to just buy new tubes for the Valveking.

Death Metal mostly
cause I don't really worry about my tone when I play Punk Hardcore.

Is there a difference between the 5150 and the 5150 II cause I found a 5150 II for 650 but i could probably talk the guy down to 600.

If I remember correctly the 5150 II is a two channel while the other is only one. The other channel is supposed to be a clean/crunch, but doesn't do the clean part that great(it is acceptable for metal type stuff just not jazz or something like that).

They are both 2 channel
The 5150 II has better cleans and tighter gain from what I've heard. They aren't 2 different.

That's a good deal go for it.
