It's pretty much the same concept, Except you do more with your hands, The chord progression in itself isn't hard, But it's getting the tempo.

Trust me, if you slap with your thumb, pluck the low e, and then "Hammer-on" the side of your guitar, Near the sound-hole, you'll get one of the common techniques he uses.
It's simple, but it's cool.
Plus it sounds incredible in conduction with the slapping.
