i totally forgot how much fun it is to play rhcp songs. this is one of my favorite songs from them, only took about 2-3 hours with editing, not hard but very fun. I was toying with the idea of sing because chili peppers stuff is fairly easy to sing but i'm still a little sick and i can't sing.

the song is on my profile so check it out, and while you're at it check out my other cover if you want. thanks for listen!

Hey

Critting as I listen

Guitar needs to be pulled back just a TINY bit. It's slightly out of time. This is an easy fix. Just zoom in, and drag it back a little bit. Guitar work is good though. No notable mistakes. Tone sounds nice too. Just pull it back a tad.

You should sing it

A lot of pros do that: if they play a wrong note, they'll hit it again to make it look as if it's intentional. It's called "jazz", aparently.

yeah i don't know why but when i try recording i always seem to be a little off time when i start a new track, it really pisses me off because when i'm playing it sounds like i'm in time no problem. yeah now listening to it the guitar does sound a bit loud. the tone of my guitar sounds like a low quality 3mp though, i guess it must have just been from exporting it as a mp3, oh well.

i like the song melancholy you have on that purevolume page, good stuff all the way. btw if you need some backing tracks go to guitarbackingtack.com or guitarchaos.com lots of good, free, backing tracks on those sites.
