Hello,

I'm looking for songs that have similar (playing) style to Muse's "Plug in Baby" and Blink-182's "Carousel" (the bass intro) and "Stay Together for the Kids". So basically around 140 bpm movement of fingers around the fretboard that produces relaxing sound. Anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks

^I'm talking about the intro riffs on all of these.

megadeth - dread and the fugitive mind

sorta....a lot faster but mad riffage

Thanks, I'll look at that.

I was thinking more along the lines of songs that have single-string strumming (as in, no chords, but traveling along the fretboard to different strings or just going up and down scales in some fashion).

I like almost any kind of rock/metal.

Metallica - That was Just Your Life is a great song for the single string strumming. The main riff anyways

Actually, go look at a bunch of other muse songs. They do that a lot.

Thank you all, I'll look at those suggestions!

EDIT: Oh, and my single-string strumming, I didn't mean fast patters on one string as in many metal songs, but strumming one string at a time instead of many strings to build a chord.

More examples:

Metallica's "Seek and Destroy"...
