the clean channel of my mesa/boogie f-30 isn't functioning properly.
initially after changing tubes, it was fine but after a few weeks the clean channel doesn't put out much volume. turning up the volume knob only produces more white noise with just a little guitar signal.
the lead and contour channels are fine though.
tube gone wrong? or something else?

if the lead/contour is fine, it won't be the power tubes. Look up the manual for the F30 on the Mesa site, and look which preamp tubes are associated with the clean channel. If there is one preamp tube only associated with the clean, that is the one I would look at or replace. Try swapping it with another preamp tube only associated with the lead channel, and see if the condition changes to the lead.

Yeah check your preamp tubes. The first one in particular.
