Hello Fellow UG'ers

I Just got me a set of new string and this time around i decided to change String Gauge to 11-50.

and i noticed that on the the 12th Fret on my E string the gap is 4mm between the Fretboard and the strings,Is this normal?

TBH havent noticed how it was before but it just feel a bit diffrent now that ive changed from 10s to 11s.

it's too high from the 12th fret. but if you're comfortable with it , it's fine.

is it 4mm up from the 12th fret ?

Yes From the Fret i put a Ruler on top of the fret then mesured it and the string lands on 4mm.

if you switch gauges like that your action will mess up on alot of guitars if you like 11's then you can go in your bridge and adjust the springs and etc. to make the action normal again. if you dont want to go through the hassle then just go back to 10's
