This is amazing. It's been vandalised to hell for a while I've been told, but I've just discovered it, and it's the funniest thing in the world.

A group of Conservatives who argue that Wikipedia is too liberal, start a conservative version.

Look for the entry on cacti, it's quite funny.

read their entries on Socialism and Communism for a real hoot.

LOL, their evolution section basically turns into a "yay Creationism" rant towards the end.

I really don't mind things like this. This advertises what it is right up front. It doesn't claim to be unbiased or centrist.

My problem is with things like Fox News Channel, who talk constantly about how "fair and balanced" they are.

"Islam is the second largest religion in the world, with over 1.4 billion followers, the number of Muslims is rapidly growing, mainly due to high birth rates, in both Muslim-majority and other countries . Conversions to Christianity (from any faith or lack thereof) outnumber those to Islam, but can not keep up with the birthrate discrepancy"

Not just conservative as hell, but racist also. But in US that is often the same thing i presume?

OMG, the Barack Obama post is PRICELESS

Obama has chosen the Secret Service code name "Renegade". "Renegade" conventionally describes someone who goes against normal conventions of behavior, but its first usage was to describe someone who has turned from their religion. It is a word derived from the Spanish renegado, meaning "Christian turned Muslim."

Which is a fair point, but a lot of the articles there contain straight up lying though. That Barrack one is a good starting point. I'd be fine with it if it wasn't for articles like that. Even if it criticised him, that's cool, but they straight up lie.

Not at all. They do have high birth rates. The only thing is, they also got their figures wrong again, as Islam has more converts than Christianity

EDIT:

Charitable Giving

In the years 2000 through 2004, before becoming a United States Senator and being in the public spotlight, Obama gave 1% of his earnings to charity even though he made $250,000 per year. Since becoming a national figure, that amount has jumped to 6%.[67] Obama's small donations are consistent with atheism and were perhaps influenced by his nonbelieving mother. According to a study by the Barna Group, atheists give less per capita in donations than religious Americans [68].

Seriously, where do they pull this shit out?

Obviously, if this were a good example of Americans, we would have elected a different President and the Democrats wouldn't have majority in both houses of Congress.

Meh. The name "Conservapedia" says it all.

The sad part is that hardline ideological conservatives have taken it upon themselves to speak for all conservatives. Conservatism used to be about limited government, fiscal responsibility, and economic freedom. Now the only "conservatives" getting any press are people talking about abortion, gay marriage, and creationism. In the past 30 years or so, "conservative" has come to mean "redneck", and I want my word back.

Look at British History, it's not like that at all. It's actually the Liberals (our Liberal party went from Classical to New Liberalism) who originally wanted freer markets.

Being conservative has emphasis on the word 'conserve', but has changed over the years. There's no strict definition of what it is to be conservative.

That's sad indeed. Now, I don't live in the US, and I certainly wasn't alive several decades ago, but from some documentary I watched in class it said that once upon a time being a good conservative wasn't just about who the "best Christian" was.

What ever happened to seperated church from state?

Full page on it, with only 3 lines directed towards criticisms.

When the references are checked half of them are AiG, almost all the rest are Christian websites, one is the bible (an actual reference to Genesis) and only one is a non-Christian site. (talk origins).

Soooo, this might be considered unimportant, but they pulled a Godwin's law on aliens.

http://www.conservapedia.com/Essay:_Liberal_Falsehoods

In a nutshell: "There are no aliens because Hitler said otherwise."

EDIT: I know that they don't specifically state anywhere that aliens don't exist, but bringing up Hitler just makes this seem like a crude attempt at subliminal messaging.

Nah, it was nowhere near subtle enough to merit "subliminal".

Superliminal is the word you're looking for.

From the Psychology page:

Psychology is viewed as a relatively young discipline. It started with Wilhelm Wundt and "introspection", continued on with William James, and was later influenced by Charles Darwin and the Theory of evolution.

How the hell was Darwin a psychologist?

Liberalpedia exists, but one thinks that their tongues are firmly in there cheeks.
Yeah, this is too lulz worthy to be real:
Quote by Liberalpedia
An abortion is the removal of the fetus from a pregnant woman. One who is pregnant should for whatever reason be able to have this preformed on themselves, as long as it is in the early (first trimester) stages of pregnancy (according to some) or as long as it is within the first 9 months of pregnancy (according to others). The best alternative to abortion is not to get pregnant in the first place, by using contraception or keeping one's legs together, but no one really follows this advice except for conservatives, so by definition it must be a stupid idea.

Sarah Palin hates polar bears, She believes they are evil and a devil abomination. She is so extreme she tried to get the Bush administration to remove polar bears from the Endangered Species List to get more oil drilling space. It's a proven fact because it is on the internet, so there.

You think?

Still some hardcore conservatists will be reading it and interpreting it as real liberal values.

Which is additionally lulz-worthy.
