I have 2 switches for single coils and 1 out of phase.
the 2 switches have a 3 way toggle.

What are the positions to get to just humbuckers and no coil spliting?

probably the middle
if its 3 way its likely south coil - both - north coil

thanks for the reply!
thats exactaly what I had thought.

I'm fairly experienced, but I've never had coil switches til now.

They are cool, but not as dramatic of a different sound as I wanted, but still cool.
Not a strat sound.

How does the "Out of phase" work??
What is an out of phase excatally?

Feel free to explain about single coil switches on humbuckers, or post some good easy to understand links!

Thanks, I appreciate the comments!

out of phase means that one of the coils in the humbucker is reverse wound (i think)
If your still unsure about the switches, its probably the loudest one
