Who here has played while on a recreational drug.

IF so what drug and how did it make your playing different.

I'm on DXM and i feel the music more, its beautiful.

I can play ok on moderate amounts of marijuana. Try recording what you've played while on DXM and then play it back when you're sober, i'll bet it's nowhere near as beautiful, it will probably in fact sound really disjointed and bizarre.

On topic though, speed is non-existant when I'm high but I do play with more feeling and experiment more with chord shapes and scales.

Anything other than pot and you're playing will only sound good to yourself.

Playing bass drunk (not completly drunk) is great fun, no doubt it sounds terrible

I did once... it sucked haha.

not with amphetamines or coke, they don't really have much effect on your timing or perception (well then can speed up your timing, but it won't be that detrimental)
