Okay guys, I am planning on buying a new amp to upgrade from current amp, a Kustom KGA10. I want to start a band, start gigging, and possibly start recording in the near future. I play a lot of punk, pop-punk, and screamo. Right now I'll probably end up being rhythm guitar for a screamo band. I can't decide which of these amps to get, I found good deals on them, but I dunno which one would be best for me for gigging, practicing, and recording?

Screamo??? Why???

Just like you have your musical preferences, I have mine. Everyone has their type of musical taste and I am not ignorant towards people's opinions.

You seem to be more bothered about arguing TS instead of answering serious questions...

Shows how much you want an answer.

I'd recommend a Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier (I know its out your budget but look for alternatives B-52? or something like that) A lot of Pop-Punkers use it, as well as screamo.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend you. I don't really have a problem with "screamo". I just don't think you should limit yourself to any specific genre. I was wrong to even say anything that wasn't of some benifit to you." I don't know much about that specific genre so I really don't have an oppinion on what would work best."That's what I should have said to begin with. Sorry about that.
