Sorry for the bad word but seriously , it sounds like sh*t!

I've tried changing my tone and all, but it still sounds really bad!

what string or strings are you doing them on ? i use the same picks as you and i tend to do them on just the thickest string and they sound really good.
i used to be a mod, then i took an arrow in the knee.

guitar x.x

It's really weird, the results are the same with my 2 guitars. I'm thinking about a setting on my amp but I don't know

Mess around with the angle of the pick, you'll get different sounds.

i know i hate scrapping picks. they sound horrid when they hit the floor.

scraping picks sound quite good though.

i usually do them on both th e and A strings simultaneously, with the pick angled towards the bridge.

Pickslides are supposed to sound shi*ty.

I angle my pick at a 45 degrees angle and apply more pressure. Seems to sound better to me.
