Just wondering what's so bad about it? Do you just not like Jim? or is their something about the guitar you don't like? Never played one so not sure about the build quality. But the features and looks seem quite nice.

no idea. but around here when someone asks for a tele with humbuckers, the jim root's usually the only or the most common answer. these aren't as common. figured i'd just let him know.

I agree there are other options. The Jim Root is just a lot more suited for shredding with the neck it has.
