Hi
so i want to see these bands live
architects
as i lay dying
slipknot
bfmv
a7x
but most of all escape the fate
i have the money to go see escape the fate tickets are like less than £10
But the problem is my mum will want to go with me for some bizarre reason(she went with me to df)
And because of this, i'm limited to what bands i can see live(she hates screaming, grunting, growling, anything heavy)
and since a7x arent tourin near me for ages, bfmv already toured and i missed them!
slipknot i didnt get my ticket
and the rest are too heavy for my mum
now can anyone help me persuade her to let me o to this gig?
without her? And like with my friends and becuase she came with me to df i didnt like umm lets say get as involved like headbang, fists in the air etc.
Because she was there...
the youngest you can be is 14 rite? so i shuld be able to go without her shuldnt i?
and is this a pointless thread? if it is i'm sorry
They made me do push ups in drag

I'm gonna have a really hard time if we're both cannibals and racists.

Take her to Dream Theater. Fun for all the family.

Well she's just doing what all mothers do. Get some friends to come and go in a group. She may let you go then.

You should be grateful that you did not see those sh!t bands.

Just convince your mother you're not really too fond of visiting concerts with her and if it's a matter of safety make sure you'll go with some friends. Your mother will probably understand

Your own mum calls you weird for liking the music you do?

Looks like you're not gonna see 'em then. You could always lie but I wouldn't to make a young dude go the wrong direction in life.

Yeah, you're gonna have to murder her.

Hah, I feel sorry for you. Going to gigs with your parents isn't so bad, just lose them and don't care about what they may think about you 'moshing'.
Just have a friendly mature chat about it with your mum.

Edit: I saw DragonForce live recently too, they were really impressive! Even more so than the support band Turisas, and they're one of my favourite bands! And I ain't a 'virgin' gig-goer

How about i trash a few thrash metal bands oh music police?

Dragonforce at the astoria a couple of years ago, through the fire and flames had just hit the charts. That was a great show to be at. Probably the best atmosphere ive ever been in at a gig just a load of fun rather than poser fans

ill remember the guy waving a lightsaber with a viking helmet on shouting about "slay the dragon man!"

Try sitting down with her and explaining what going to see these bands means for you. tell her that they inspire you to play music, which in turn gives you the necessary creative outlet a person of your potential needs to achieve great things.

If that fails, rape her and take the money.

If all you had to go on was the forum you'd think a Decimator could cure noise caused by dodgey stage lighting and restock the ocean's population of sperm whales

Oh, and ETF put on a great live show. I saw them in July when they came to Auckland, Craig had a f*cking broken foot but they still rocked hard.

Tell her you're spending the night at a friends and go with someone else.
If you come back with a shirt, tell her you guys went to hot topic or something.

Or, alternatively, sit down with her and explain to her that you feel you're mature and responsible enough to go by yourself. And ask her what sort of things you can do to prove it to her. Or bring evidence. Like if you babysit, have a job, get good grades, or do your chores on your own without being asked, things like that. Prove you're worthy.

A Wilhelm Scream and Chaser in February
Some ska band with my girlfriend in December.

Hm.
Thrice, The Living End, Green Day, The Vines, The Hives, The Offspring, Weezer, Streetlight Manifesto, and many, many more.
