I was at the local hangout last night and as always on Friday nights, there were a few bands playing. One of them was called Speed Parade and they're really great. Their drummer left the band last week however, so they decided to try something different: play all-acoustic. It still sounded really heavy. They're just lifting off, but they've got two EPs out and if you like metal, give them a try.

Since I believe that relatively new bands need all the promotion they can get, I thought I'd write a little about them here.

"Where You Are Is Where I Want To Be" and "Fake It And Die" are my personal favourites.
Sounds like a pop-rock band decided to play a mix of hair metal and metalcore. It sucks.
