Ok a while back I bought a Peavey Windsor Half-stack because I was like, hmm tubes and big- must sound good. However that was my big mistake- it doesn't sound good for much of anything except classic rock and blues- while that is fine, its not the tone that I'm going for you know? I'm looking for more of a deep chug sound and some tight lows and highs that won't stab me in the ears.

I was wondering what there could be done without haveing to shell out some big bucks ($200+) that could help me get this amp to sound just a bit better until I can come up with the money to buy a new amp that I know sounds good.

Thx in advance guys

sell the peavey, and then put that money towards an amp which will suit you
