Something like this: http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/product/Tascam-DP02CF-Digital-Portastudio-Recording-Studio?sku=241813
Thats just an example. I want something like that for under 500 that i can record demos with with my band. Doesnt have to have a build in cd burner, buts that a plus. Anyone have any suggestions?

Line 6 Tone Port UX2
or Line 6 Studio Recorder

The first one is stopped in production but is cheaper than the second and is the same thing (it doesn't POD Farm that the studio does but you can download it for free at the Line 6 website).

Also to record use Acoustica Mixcraft, it has so much better quality than audacity.

I did that and hears how it turned out
