I'm usually not much of a lyrics man; sticking mostly to pure instrumental pieces, and focusing mainly on rhythm and melody. A lot of my songs unintentionally come out a little darker than I intend, so this was a real attempt for me to write a silly, happy song. The music in itself reminds me a lot of some early, early David Bowie (She's Got Medals, for example).

As you can see, I got somewhat trapped in a simple A B format. But, I hope you enjoy, and I'd love to know what you have to say, good and bad!

-------------------------------

Section One: Chords/Introductory Verse

0.00 A wild eyed girl with wind in her hair
0.07 flew to the U.S. She travelled on air.

0.11 Across the great seas and through the blue skies
0.14 she landed so softly, and never knew why

Section Two: Melody Guitar/Verse

0.18 a giraffe came to greet her, standing so tall;
0.21 long legged and spotted and eating up all

0.25 the leaves that she gave him; but happy to say;
0.29 the giraffe, he was all hers, and was here to stay!

Section Three: Chords/Chorus Half-Time

0.32 and she loved the giraffe, with all her heart!
0.36 She loved her giraffe, they never would part!

Section Four: Melody Guitar/Verse

0.40 Running through valleys and sipping some tea
0.43 they laughed, had some memories and switched to coffee.

0.47 The caffiene, it gave them a crazy idea;
0.50 that the giraffe could come with her to fly through the air.

Section Five: Chords/Chorus

0.54 And she loved that giraffe, with all her heart!
0.57 She loved her giraffe, they never would part!

lol, 5'9" - This song was actually written for a close friend of mine. She's really into giraffes.

I haven't had a chance to show her the lyrics to the song, yet. It's a shame I can't carry a tune, hehe.

just because you're a girl and you get more pussy than me doesn't give you the right to brag.
