well i have a epipihone les paul standard. and a boss sd-1. and i want make my over all sound better. so i am think about getting a mxr 6 band eq and a mxr dyna com or a bos compression. will this help me? and will the compression help pick up my pull offs and hammer ons better? and what does the compression and eq do?

no i hook up straight to the pa. i play in churches and they just want me to hook up the pa. whats a good compression for hardcore?

If you want to play hardcore you're going to want a better amp. Pedals won't do anything for your hardcore sound.
