Morning/afternoon/evening all (depending on your location - quite open ended really).

I've been sent here on behalf of a mate who's just bought a bass. He asked me for recommendations for an amp and, as a guitarist, I haven't a clue, so I thought I'd ask you lot.

He's looking for something decent, but quite cheap (he's a student ).


Thanks for any advice.

Not entirely sure how much he wants to spend, but it won't be much considering he's just started playing. It'll be something sub-£100 definitely.

try and get your hands on an acoustic amp (acoustic is the brand name) and avoid behringer like the plague
