Okay, I'm going to replace my spider III. I want a small practice amp (which i will use pedals on). It needs a headphone jack, mp3 in and no irritating buzz, even when the guitar isn't plugged in.
I was thinking a roland microcube.
Any others I should concider?
Price range is flexible, but around £50-80

Get something bigger than a microcube. I own one, but it's too boring so I don't play it anymore... got me a 6505+ instead

I bet it sounds like ****. You can't get that thing anywhere near tube tone. But good effort to inject your 6505 into the conversation.

If you're gonna go SS and need a cheap amp, try this out:

btw, what is this buzzing? You mean the drive? If that's it you may never get rid of that, it's just how the amp functions. Though it shouldnt be too loud.
