ok ive been looking at some bass amps, and i was wondering if i could get some suggestions.

so which is a better deal, this acoustic b200 for $350

i was looking at the ampeg ba115 but ive read on here its not worth it.

any other suggestions?

I'd go with the acoustic head, if someday you need more power or a different tone you can change the cabinet

i never really got what a head does. what is the difference between a head on a cab than a bass combo

Not a huge difference if there the same model, But heads generally come in bigger wattages, they can be rackmounted they can be much more felible thatn combos. Now and again a combo is easier though.
